Linda Tegerdine comes from a background of writing and her father was a Journalist in London for all of his life.

This is Linda's first novel, though she has written two children's books, which have been published in the last few years.

She has lived in a quaint village called Goldhanger near the River Black Water in Essex for many years, it was in these early years when her family were young that she lived in a spooky but delightful old house, where indeed odd things first started to happen, which has inspired her to write this novel of Round to Midnight, which is an eerily atmospheric tale of an evil spirit who begins to haunt the owner Catherine bringing with it a contrast to the tranquillity and peacefulness of the lovely cottage which she shares with her husband and dog.

This author hopes to achieve many more novels and already a further book is in the pipeline.

We await more of the writings of this rather unusual Author Extraordinaire, who now lives on the border of Norfolk and Suffolk.
